On Monday, April 7 at Cecil Green Park House, Andrew Parr, Associate Vice-President, SHCS, was honoured with a Just Desserts award by the UBC Alma Mater Society (AMS) at their 2025 awards reception. The AMS awards this distinction, with recommendations from UBC student societies and AMS executive, to members of the UBC community who have shown outstanding passion and work in the spirit of service for students throughout the year. Nominated by a member of the AMS, Andrew was recognized for his many years of leadership in expanding on-campus student housing and for the overall depth of his commitment to UBC students.
