For February 2025, which is Black History Month and Black Futures Month, the UBC Bookstore team put together a fantastic in-store display and online listing of brilliant books by black authors, from classics to contemporary, nonfiction to sci-fi. Plus, in honour of Freedom to Read Week (February 23–March 1), they also put together an in-store display and online listing of challenged and banned books. Visit the store until the end of February to check out these great displays. Throughout March, visit the store to check out the display in celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8).
