On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, we hosted the 2024 OWC Winter Festival.

Organized by the SHCS Outstanding Workplace Committee (OWC), the event took place at Thunderbird Arena in the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre.

More than 200 SHCS Vancouver employees had fun skating, gingerbread cookie decorating and playing a range of games, from corn hole to giant Connect Four. Plus, attendees enjoyed delicious charcuterie platters, poutine, hot chocolate and cookies.

Thanks to the OWC members who helped organize and staff the event, plus additional colleagues from across SHCS who also helped out before, during and after the event, including setup and teardown. A big shoutout, in particular, to our Facilities and Building Services Warehouse team!
