Good try! The correct answer is the Varsity Outdoor Club, which was formed in 1917. It’s one of the three oldest surviving students clubs, along with the UBC Players Club (1915) and The Ubyssey (1918), The UBC Fencing Club was formed eleven years later in 1928.
