On Thursday, June 5, in honour of World Oceans Day, our team spent the afternoon cleaning up trash on Wreck Beach, ultimately diverting 20.1 lbs of trash from the beach during our annual shoreline cleanup, organized by chef Hoang Nguyen in partnership with the OWC. Items included everything from cigarette butts and bottle caps to glass and plastic bags. A small step for cleaner coastlines—and a reminder to consume with care!
