Food Services has been busy this summer opening new locations and updating existing ones to bring delicious new dining options to both campuses.
Vancouver campus
DaBao Dim Sum and Bakery
DaBao specializes in authentic bao, dim sum, tarts and buns, in partnership with Kam Wai Dim Sum and Pine House Bakery. Located in the old Ike’s Cafe location, DaBao also offers onigiri, Pearl Fever bubble tea and grab and go meals and snacks.
Harvest Brock Commons
This new Harvest Market location provides many new offerings to this area of campus, including freshly squeezed orange juice, rotisserie chicken, hot and cold serve bars and grocery section. Located at the corner of Walter Gage and East Mall.
Hero Coffee Brock Commons
Located within the new Harvest Market, Hero offers a wide array of quality espresso drinks—including nitro cold brew on tap—and baked goods. Coffee beans sourced from Boulevard Coffee Roasting Co.
Mezze
Located inside Gather dining hall at Place Vanier, Mezze specializes in Mediterranean dishes. Italian and Greek food are just two of the influences that make up the offerings.
Good Noodle
Located at Open Kitchen, Gather and Feast dining halls, Good Noodle specializes in vegetarian noodle dishes. Globally inspired, guests can expect pasta, pho, ramen and more.
Okanagan campus
Ice Cream Happy Hour
New to Pritchard Dining Hall: Ice Cream Happy Hour, being served weekdays from 2 pm to 4 pm. Diners can choose among three-to-five rotating flavours, including dairy-free options.
Build Your Own Bowls
Located inside Pritchard Dining Hall, Nourish is now serving build-your-own bowls, allowing diners to customize their meal by selecting between rice or noodles, and a variety of protein, mixed veggie and sauce options.
Automated Beverage Machines
Two new automated beverage machines are giving guests at Pritchard Dining Hall more ways to stay hydrated and caffeinated. A new automatic barista machine allows diners to choose between dozens of hot beverage options like lattes, cappuccinos and hot chocolates. And those looking for a cold drink can enjoy the new carbonated flavoured water machine.
Rocket Bistro
Rocket Bistro has reopened for the academic year with a new menu featuring daily curry bowls like veggie vindaloo and butter chicken, as well as Bombay toasties, masala egg burritos, coconut and lychee tapioca puddings, mango lassis and bubble tea.
