On Thursday, June 20, 2024, we hosted the 2024 OWC Summer Kickoff Carnival.
The carnival, organized by the SHCS Outstanding Workplace Committee (OWC), took place at the Orchard Commons courtyard.
More than 300 SHCS Vancouver staff enjoyed a complimentary lunch of hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, chips and pop and churros. SHCS Staff competed in carnival games, from mini golf and cornhole to giant Connect Four and bottle toss.

Thanks to the OWC members who helped organize and staff the event, along with the SHCS Leadership team who helped run the carnival games and teardown the event. A big shoutout in particular to our Facilities and Building Services Warehouse team and chefs from Food Services who helped bring the carnival to life!
