Join a group of SHCS colleagues and get your hands dirty volunteering at the UBC Farm! If you’ve ever wanted to visit the farm, learn more about it, and have a meaningful volunteer experience that supports sustainability and the climate, this is your chance!

We will be helping out with farm duties, which may include either weeding, harvesting, or helping with spring clean up around the farm.

Registration

Please register by email to out.standing@ubc.ca. The registration deadline is May 19, 2022.

You are welcome to register up to two additional friend/family (non-SHCS) volunteers – so please provide that information in the email when you register. However, priority registration will be offered to SHCS staff.

Note that the minimum age to attend is 16 years old.

Additional info

Time commitment: all volunteers must arrive by 9:30 am to attend the morning volunteer orientation; but volunteers do not need to stay for the entire three hour duration.
