UBC Conferences and Accommodation recently launched a chat widget on their accommodation website—a replacement for the hard copy guest information and directory binder. Guests staying at the West Coast Suites and Gage Suites will be able to scan a QR code in the room to launch the chat widget on their device and ask any general or hotel-specific questions. This service will allow C&A to provide website visitors and hotel guests with around-the-clock information in a format that can be easily updated and reduces the environmental impact of printing hard copy guest information packages.
