A new Commuter Student Hostel at UBC Okanagan is coming soon—an exciting opportunity for students who commute to UBCO from elsewhere in the Okanagan valley to stay on campus, if needed. The hostel will offer 12 newly renovated, single bedroom spaces for commuter students to book occasional, short-term stays. The UBC Okanagan Student Housing team looks forward to offering this valuable service to students. Watch for more info!

It’s time for the SHCS Road Warriors—one of UBC’s top teams!—to get ready for the next round of Go by Bike Week from September 23-October 6.
We would love to have new SHCS recruits from all departments and divisions join the riders already on our roster.
The goal is to log the team’s bike rides during Go by Bike Week, any length and for any reason—such as riding to work, for fun, or while doing errands. Be part of the change and help make Metro Vancouver a happier, healthier place to live, work and play. Remember–every ride counts!
Great prizes are up for grabs for all registered riders who log a ride. Check the Go By Bike BC website for details on how to enter the grand prize, a cycling adventure for two!
Already registered on the SHCS Road Warriors team from a previous year?
Log onto the GoByBike website: https://logmyride.gobybikebc.ca/dashboard / click on the ‘Log My Ride’ button and enter your kms for each one way trip.
New to the SHCS Road Warriors team?
If you are signing up for the first time, create an account on the Go By Bike BC website. Click on the Team icon in the website header and register with the SHCS team using the instructions below.

Once you’ve joined the SHCS team, register for the event by logging a trip via the Log My Ride button in the top right corner.
