Congratulations to Dina Del Bucchia, one of our long-standing UBC Bookstore employees, who recently launched her book, You’re Gonna Love This. The author of several collections of poetry, Dina is also a co-host of Can’t Lit, a podcast on Canadian literature and culture, the Artistic Director of the Real Vancouver Writers’ Series and a sessional instructor with UBC’s School of Creative Writing. This amazing 5K, 10K or Kids’ Mile raises money for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, along with school track and field programs for elementary age students.

It’s time for the SHCS Road Warriors—one of UBC and Metro Vancouver’s top teams!—to get ready for the next round of Go by Bike
It’s time for the SHCS Road Warriors—one of UBC and Metro Vancouver’s top teams!—to get ready for the next round of Go by Bike Week from May 30 to June 5.
We would love to have new SHCS recruits from all departments and divisions join the riders already on our roster.
The goal is to log the team’s bike rides during Go by Bike Week, any length and for any reason—such as riding to work, for fun or while doing errands. Be part of the change and help make Metro Vancouver a happier, healthier place to live, work and play. Remember–every ride counts!
Great prizes are up for grabs for all registered riders who log a ride. Check the Go By Bike BC website for details on how to enter the grand prize, a cycling adventure for two!

If you are signing up for the first time, set up an account and automatically join the team.
You can also visit Go By Bike BC to create your account, then click on the Team icon in the website header and register with the SHCS team using the instructions below.
