Please welcome Gavin Gao back to Residence Life at UBC, as our new Manager, Residence Education. In this new role, Gavin will be the project manager for Residence Advisor training and Residence Advisor recruitment, while also managing the Program Resource Centre and staff, advising the 80+ member Residence Hall Association and National Residence Hall Honorary, and providing support and expertise to various curricular, educational and development initiatives throughout the year. Most recently, Gavin was a Student Engagement and Development Advisor with UBC’s Sauder School of Business. He holds a Bachelor of Science from UBC and is a Certified Scrum Master. Gavin started in the role on June 5, 2023.
