The Enforcement and Access Desk teams in UBC Parking recently completed an excellent workshop with the Justice Institute on conflict management and de-escalation; all Parking staff will also be taking part in a Lifeworks Seminar, Happiness: Learning from Positive Psychology. Also, the Facilities Maintenance team will be getting two new additions: a full-time Facilities Maintenance Worker, which will allow them to provide better coverage to residence parking facilities and install more in-ground sensors, and a new Bobcat ToolCat Utility Work Machine to help us better maintain our parkades no matter the weather.
