OWC Summer Kickoff Carnival

On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, we hosted the 2023 OWC Summer Kickoff Carnival.

Organized by the SHCS Outstanding Workplace Committee (OWC), the event took place at the Orchard Commons courtyard.

More than 250 SHCS Vancouver staff enjoyed a complimentary lunch of hot dogs, popcorn, chips and soda, along with popsicles for dessert, and had fun playing a range of carnival games, from bocce and corn hole to giant Connect Four and the bottle toss.

Thanks to the OWC members who helped organize and staff the event, along with numerous other SHCS colleagues who helped run carnival games and with setup, teardown, barbequing and more. A big shoutout in particular to our Marketing and Communications team, Occupational Health and Safety team, and several chefs from Food Services!
