Over 13,000 students live in residence at UBC – at both the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses. Between the two campuses, we have 17 residence communities – and each year we open a new residence or house to accommodate the growing campus population. But within UBC Student Housing, our Residence Life teams go way beyond just providing students with a room to study and sleep in.

At a wonderful and moving unveiling ceremony on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 the new name for Building 7 at Totem Park Residence was gifted to UBC and SHHS by the Musqueam First Nation. We are so honoured to be gifted this very important name in Musqueam history and culture: c̓əsnaʔəm House, or c̓əsnaʔəm leləm̓.

Event Details
It’s time for the SHCS Road Warriors—one of UBC’s top teams!—to get ready for the next round of Go by Bike Week (formerly Bike To Work Week), which takes place October 16–29. This fall, you’ll have two weeks to pedal for prizes..
We would love to have new SHCS recruits from all departments and divisions join the riders already on our roster.
The goal is to log the team’s bike rides during Go by Bike Week, any length and for any reason—such as riding to work, for fun, or while doing errands. Be part of the change and help make Metro Vancouver a happier, healthier place to live, work and play.
Prizes
Instead of daily prizes, you can win prizes from three different prize categories based on how many trips you log throughout the entire week. Remember: The more you ride, the more prizes you’re eligible to win!
